Dog Bites NY Firefighter During Two-Alarm Blaze
A New York firefighter was taken to the hospital following a dog attack while battling a two-alarm fire involving two homes Tuesday morning.
Crews responded to calls concerning the fire on Buffalo's east side just after 5 a.m., WKBW-TV reports. One of the houses was already on fire when firefighters reached the scene, and flames were beginning to spread to the roof and back of a neighboring home.
A firefighter was bitten by a dog in a nearby alley as he tried to enter one of the homes, authorities told WKBW. He was being taken to the hospital as a precaution, the TV station added.
